Short Stay in Amsterdam, what apartment should I rent?
Short stay apartments are quite rare to find; most expat housing agencies have apartments which you should rent for at least six months. If you’re looking for an apartment where you can stay for shorter periods of time (like 1 / 2 months) most expat housing agencies won’t be able to help you.
As the city council has made renting apartments for such short time not financially attractive for landlords, the market in finding a good apartment has become very small and leaning to illegal renting out of apartments. Be aware when renting such apartments and make sure you are working with a licensed housing agent.
